Mission Summary:

HR Program Manager 

The HR Program Manager will drive employee-focused programs including performance management. The HR Program Manager will also own or help with various culture projects and potential new initiatives such as a mentorship program. They will work closely with the HRBPs, team members across the HR team and various stakeholders throughout the organization to deliver these programs. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Identify, build and roll-out new programming to enhance Motional’s employee experience. 
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across Motional (HRBP, internal comms, L&D, talent acquisition, marketing, benefits, compensation, legal, finance, etc.) at various stages of each program and project. 
  • Own progress and monitoring of relevant HR OKRs (Objectives and Key Results). 
  • Build relationships across all levels of the organization, keeping the pulse on the employee experience and areas of improvement. 
  • Own and manage execution for Motional’s Performance Management: 
    • Manage the twice-annual performance review process.
    • Build and manage project plan for performance management processes, systems, training, communications, ensuring all deadlines are hit, and providing updates as needed. 
    • Design performance calibration sessions to ensure objective talent decisions are made in a fair and transparent manner.
    • Oversee handoffs to stakeholders such as payroll, compensation, etc. and ensure a smooth end to end process for employees. 
    • Stay up to date on trends in managing performance and become Motional’s Performance Management subject matter expert. 
  • Explore new employee programs such as mentoring: 
    • Design and roll-out internal mentoring program.
    • Recruit mentors throughout the organization. 
    • Lead matching process with HRBPs and stakeholders.
    • Build programming to enhance the mentorship experience. 
    • Develop a structure and system to identify milestones, communicate results, and channels to provide feedback. 

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 4+ years of professional experience 
  • Minimum 2+ years related experience in HR with strong program management skills
  • Experience with performance management programs 
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and able to give effective presentations
  • Demonstrated track record of building relationships and working collaboratively with peers and leaders across an organization  
  • Understanding of key HR systems/processes
  • Ability to drive initiatives by influencing cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage systems in a non-technical capacity, such as performance management platform (15five)
  • Experience working in a high-growth tech company preferred
